The artefact/scroll trader is currently only available in the capital. It would be a nice addition if he could be accessed from different cities instead of having to travel back and forth just for that.
A perfect vault may unlock remote trading: In other cities there would also be a trader tab when clicking on a hero. To make it more balanced there could be an additional trading fee in credit/gold/both. E.g. buying a l5 scoll cost 50 in bg and 50+20 from credit. Or selling a crystal gives 80 credit instead of 100.
Remote magical trading
Re: Remote magical trading
The concern would be someone spying a remote city has no way to view what scrolls may be available from the trader to the player.
Would there be an associated "Remote Trader" building to perhaps construct in non-capitol cities whom displays the player's trader shop?
I'm also assuming you mean Trader ONLY, as access to the storage from the vault remotely would be game changing.

Re: Remote magical trading
Yes thats true. The trader should make his items more attractive by traveling to you. Stuff thats in your vault is your responsibility.
About spying: The shops scrolls can be changed by bg, so even if you spy one cant be sure that those are the only one he can buy.
Nevertheless one alternative i thought about was that the trader is accessible through the market. The l8 update currently does nothing than increasing capacity, so it would be an idea to unlock magical trading at this market as well.

I wonder if this would also devalue bag space and greatly decrease the utility a larger belt provides.
