Attacking Ruins

Im a new player and I've located a level 1 ruin.
What are acceptable losses for attacking a level 1 ruin for a new player?

The losses are unacceptable
cavalary, airborne, carrier, healer - this military you have to take on ruins lv1.
I don't like to give links to encyclopedia

So, even though I came across a level 1 ruin when I started exploring, I shouldn't attack it because I done have enough of the right type of units to take it down without taking some losses of about 40% my army.
Well, slowing building up stone so I can get some airborne units running... maybe some healers much later from now...
