if i go to 5 stars at the start of the tournament and then go back on 4, do i get to participate

yes. if you are suzerain when the tournament begins your explorers will be able to find lakes even if your rank drops after the tournament is under way

just an fyi there is no rank rule for outer domains though so a suzerain will be able to attack and take your lake if they find it even if you have dropped back to 4

Are you sure that Marshals can seize U-Lakes? I don't believe they can, but your condition that they can as long as they started the tournament as Suzerain might be something.

like I know, you can prticipate if you are suzerain when ULT start and you can seize UL only while you are suzerain. if you go down at 4 stars during the turnament, you couldn't seize UL anymore and you will reste in rating with the UL already seized. if fairylite tell that you can seize UL even you are at 4 stars, maybe the rules are changed and I don't know.
