in need of a mentor

hi i am new to the game and seem to be struggling with growing and figuring out what to upgrade and not to upgrade and how to gain resources faster. I am in need of a mentor in a bad way. I will great appreciate any one willing to take this task on and once i graduate will pass along what i have learned and what i learn in the game after that by taking on an apprentice as well.
