why spend BG for perfect werehouse?

Between anti-magic (blue dome), warehouse protection (from artifacts, spells, and perfect warehouses) and even counterspell (purple dome) I think there's plenty to mitigate or deal with Curse of Plundering.

Just because it is stronger than perfect warehouses does not mean it is "too much"

In your opinion, should perfect warehouses totally nullify an entire class of spell? (Curse of Plunder)

Also, to your last question, there are obvious benefits to having perfect warehouses that more than justify having them. Now that you've had Curse of Plunder cast on you, will you just tear down all perfect warehouses? I don't think so, and the reason is the exact answer to your complaint.
