at a standstill with my kindgom ~HELP~

I need stone really bad.
I cannot upgrade anything anymore.
My people are leaving.
I cannot complete the quest to buy stone.
I cannot upgrade my quarries.
I am really frustrated.

I have seen you respond to people to do this or that, but I am not even in a place in the game to rob people or build another mine. I have my kingdom maxed out pretty much. I don't know if I should be removing some people's homes, a business, or what? I have 1017 people and 622 of them are idle! I have no idea what to do with them!

it seems everywhere I look and everything I read (here and the encyclopedia) are not helping me.
:(

Let me think ...
You can find mine. If there is stone in - good. And if not, then you can replace, for example iron in stone.
Or you can study science and set up new city in place where there will be plenty of stone.

Too many people isn't good idea. It's better to build labs :)

I don't recommend deleting to many homes your going to run into problem later on if you don't have enough people to build your building. they also are the one that effect how much money you make.

Yes, you're right. But I didn't told her to remove all people - only surplus. She should build golden city on desert and there will produce people and gold.

So I ended up selling homes... but I bought more and upgrading them and then expanding my kingdom. I am finally *finally* upgrading to level 5. I have a quest to bring my homes, workshops and mines to level 2.

I have already done this, and to level 4, some of them! I will not have enough resources to bring all of my new establishments to level 2 (three of each? omg!) for a long time... as it will take a while to have more places to upgrade. :(

So I cannot be credited for what I have already accomplished? Seems like we should be able to. Just saying.
