How do you know what level you are?
Need to get to level 5...How long does that take and how do you see your level?

Your level is the number of stars that shows when the mouse hovers over your city on the map. Or over your name in the rating window (press the third button in the top left corner of the screen). Your level also corresponds to your rank. Esquire = lvl1, Captain = lvl2, Master = lvl3, Marshal = lvl4, Suzerain = lvl5.
How long does it take to reach level 5? It depends on what you want from this game. I registered here more than one year ago, and I'm still a Marshal, because I'm not in any hurry. Others do it more quickly, but I think you will need a few months at least.
