With the merger of the other servers onto the UK server, the whole map is now VERY crowded!!
With almost every single ruin giving only 1BG this has become a hassle. Ruins were already hard to obtain in some areas and now the map is getting overcrowded. The LEAST the admin could do is remove the computer generated Lvl1 non-player domains
Many members I have spoken to are now considering quitting this game due to the merger.

I 100% agree with VH. It is not fair on existing players and also not fair for the new players from the Greek Server.
I don't like the way you presented the merger as a fait accompli and for your to tell us:
" Now our community is even bigger than at any time before and you can meet lots of great people, build alliances and enjoy the game together. Welcome the newcomers to the My Lands world and make new friends!" is an insult to our intelligence.

I also disagree with the "meet new friends" belief as I can only speak english and french (can read some german) and have now idea how to even communicate with someone in Greek or even how to type in Japanese, Chinese or Korean. There is NO in game translator to use and the Google translate is often inaccurate.

I want to discuss this topic as well, but I want to be clear -- are we talking about the UK merger or the US merger here?
The UK merger was MASSIVE, the US server only seems to have merged with Greek.

Yes, this isn't nearly as bad as the UK server. I heard there were 7 to 11 countries added(I haven't checked all the flags). It is almost unplayable over there. I have seen auctions for 10 BG go for over 4 million. Unfortunately even with a city of all warehouses and a few defenses I still wouldn't have enough space to win an auction - I'm not a knight.
The merger here has slightly bumped up the competition for ruins and auctions. It's a little annoying, but seeing how bad it is on the UK server makes me think we have it good here. I just hope that it doesn't get any worse. I don't see how someone just starting out can be encouraged to stick it out and continue with the game if there is little chance of them getting anywhere without dropping a lot of cash.
