My Lands: Black Gem Hunting

I am extremely new to this type of forum of gaming. Usually I play games alone. I need a mentor for one of my quests. I have no idea how to go about this... so here I am scratching my head. I am not a child playing (senior citizen here) so mentor will have to have patience with me as I learn everything about playing this game. So is there someone who wants to help an old geezer how to play this game? I seems fun... takes time to get things going because you have to wait for stuff. Any advise will be humbly accepted. Thank you

I am Hexxus of clan Runefaust, I can attempt to help you with any questions or inquiries you have.
There's a lot to know of the game, so it's hard for me to find a good place to start with advice so specific questions are welcome as I can answer them more simply.
You'll need to find a mentor before your center building reaches lvl 5 or else you won't be able to "officially" have one.
I currently have my apprentice slots full but can ask around if you need help finding one.
Many players are open to mentor.
