although I can see how many are produced from alchemy we have nothing showing how many total we have at any one time. it would be nice to see how many we have so we know what science we would like to know next. (just like the bar on top that shows how much money, wood or stone we have)

Just click on the big green bottle at the bottom of the screen. There you will see a meter with a count of how many science points per hour you aquire. You just have to choose what you want to study and it will tell you how long till it will finish with that science. That is the one resource you do not need beforehand. You only aquire it when you choose something to study. And you cannot really stockpile it. If you choose a science and it finishes then you need to choose a new science before you aquire more science points. It is pretty clear....

not a prob - I thought we could stockpile just like the other items. Thanks for clearing that up. That makes sense now.

Also in case you didn't know, you can swap between sciences you're studying before you finish one if you change your mind; it will keep the same amount of progress and apply it to the one you've switched to. Just click around a few times, you'll see what I mean.
