Hero Gone?

I had a hero in a camp and it was killed. I cannot hire a new one. What is up? Thanks.
You can't hire another because you still have one.
Heroes do not get killed, they get Stunned which is essentially being "dead" while it lasts.
None of their skills or artifacts will work.
Since coming from a camp, check your nearest city and look into the Sanctuary. You'll find your hero is inside of it and is Stunned for 3 days.
