My Lands: Black Gem Hunting

I have a Quest (complete 150 Quests in a Row) with a nice (i think) prize. I have already failed two quests because i didn't spend the BG to purchase. I can fail up to 3 more, and have 37 completed at this time). My question is whether it is possible to complete the 150 Quests without using BG? If not, what is the minimal number of BG needed to complete enough quests for this prize. I have Accelerate Science available, but don't want to burn so many of my starting BG until it is truly worth it...

It's worth it. I'm not entirely sure how many BG's you'll have to use, but I don't think its possible to complete without spending BG's, you'll run into too many timed ones from what I remember.
