Catapult Spell

Why does this not reduce towers to 0?
Why is lvl 1 the minimum?

Catapult is (imho) useless spell. Normal towers are useless on 5* (only for assassins attack defense but in late game other player can send even 1kkk assassins...) There are many of useless options in game but catapult...

I don't have to build and upgrade normal tower right? But i have to learn catapult to speed up my hero. This spell should be changed into another one. Most of the battle ends on 1'st round. Catapult (machine throwing stones) destroys buildings and it's good idea for this spell. Reduction of tower level is totally useless.

Well it reduces the level of magic towers too... but...

I agree most battles end within the first round or two, which is why Catapult should be able to bring towers to power level 0 for the battle...if it could do this, it would be more useful. It's lame how against a city with level 1 towers/magic towers it is literally useless. ( not just our opinion, but literally no functionality )
Catapult also has the longest cooldown ( 7-3 days ) while only lasting 1 day or til next battle...vs Mage-Defenders which is a 3-2 day cooldown yet lasts 1 whole day so essentially 1 day cooldown, and then Ballista with a 3-1 day cooldown...both of these can be used offensively or defensively while Catapult has the most limited use...ONLY for offense, and ONLY if the enemy's base has towers above level 1...
Meanwhile does absolutely nothing while defending a base...

Also I did think it was annoying that Catapult skill had to be maxed before improving Hero Speed for Strategist, but I guess that comes with balancing of Strategist heroes generally being more battle oriented with stronger bonuses to an army than other hero types.
