Hey i was trying to figure out how the gifts work, and since i didn't see a section about it in the encyclopedia. I was playin around with it on the game server. Mistakedly i sent this person i don't know an expensive gift. and i don't even think they are still playin. Is there a way to retract this or get my black gems back. I really need them.

Unfortunately I don't think they'll return the gems.
For future, the gifts you can give are just for show and really don't server any purpose except for fun "badges".
You can also gift black gems to other players if you have premium.
Remember you can earn black gems from ruins and bidding at the market.

Hi! Please, address the in-game support. However the misclicks are never refunded. If you have questions how something works, feel free to ask here in Forum or write a letter to in-game support team. It will be answered within 48 hours.
