How in the world do you get enough storage space to save up the amount of coins you need to be able to win any auctions?? It always seems the same few players end up bidding the price up so high (instead of bidding on open auctions) that winning any BG's are impossible. I cannot afford to buy any more of the BG's and it seems you need them to equip your hero, advance in the game and complete 3/4 of the quests.
Any suggestions for a lot of storage - with the limited space we have?

get paste the limit or dedicate a town for gold maybe with a lot of storage

Thank you for the suggestion - My next town is going to be designated for a lot of warehouses buildings. But now the problem is even worse with the extended market patch (way too many people bidding on the same auctions). I cannot foresee me winning an auction (Black gems) anytime soon

as I understand it, from others, the payment for auction purchases comes only from your capital.

No. You can pay from any city. You only have to collect all needed gold in one city.

I finally won one auction (40 BGs) - after 2 months of trying - It gives me the option to pay from any of my towns with a drop down menu - but all the coins must be in one town - it doesn't let you split up the payment between towns. So you have to make sure you have enough storage space in one of your towns to cover the cost of the auction.
Also with the new change they just implemented today (all resource production is reduced - including gold ) I do not have the space to keep the amount of population, storage and all the other buildings I must build in my capitol to increase my army. I have a very small army, since I am still fairly new. And unless I have a bunch of real money to buy BGs, there is no way I can upgrade the buildings I have with the limited space we have. My coin/gold production in my towns are now all in the red with this new change. And I only have around 100 - 200 of each type of military unit, except a few more mercs.
If anyone has any suggestions please let me know - this is a fun game, but I cannot invest more money into this game at this time.
