See, this is what I mean about advice that is so disheartening. What kind of person makes comments to posts of new people who are honestly searching for help like this? In my opinion: Haters or Mean Stupid People.

Way, I do not know if you are a moderator, a developer, a programer, an administrator or just a player, but I do know you seem to have experience in this game. You have responded to a topic about American "Noobs" and I believe, now that I think about it, you have some kind of issue with new people... What the hell is wrong with you?

Why do you even post stupid answers like that? Really. Do you automatically assume that if someone is new, you have to turn your back on them? Or that you just "HAVE" to post "something" because you are hateful? Why do you post? To see your words in print?

I suggest, Way, that if you are going to even THINK of posting things to the new players who are reaching out for help, offer them REAL help, real direction. OR JUST DO NOT POST TO THEM.

By not posting, you would make yourself look like a much more intelligent and caring person than you seem to be at this moment.

Yes... Your intelligence is showing when you post stupid comments and directions that make no sense. So, Way, either keep it to yourself or learn some people skills and compassion...

As an afterthought, maybe, just maybe, you need to learn to play the game... maybe that is why you keep giving such ignorant advice.

Come on, obviously he just try to help. He didn't write as long posts as you but I think his advice has the point.
It's impossible to answer all questions you can add (how to look in game, how to write in game directly...) in first post and sometimes is better to answer briefly. At least for me..
And it's true, that write in game could be more effective.

I think that now you can become an apprentice even if you have lvl 5 main building, but before your first robbery.

There's more people in game. You can easy choose only players with suzerain rank. An more people could see your private message in game. Forum is dead :)

True - we shoudn't answer to posts of people searching help like this :)

Kuroo wrote:you have some kind of issue with new people...
I'm really, really afraid of them... They scary me :(

Kuroo wrote:Why do you even post stupid answers like that?
Maybe I'm so stupid. Or maybe this post wasn't stupid, but u are? That's riddle and I'm too stupid to try to resolve them :(

Kuroo wrote:Why do you post? To see your words in print?
I spent last years writting words in windows notepad. That become booring so I thought that other people should see my words :)

Kuroo wrote:offer them REAL help, real direction.
OK! I'll find mentor for them. Let they think that someone do every of their jobs instead.

Kuroo wrote:directions that make no sense.
Yes. Trying to search mentor directly in game makes no sense. Is much better to write on forum where you can see only 2 or 3 active users. I'm sure all of them are suzerains and are searching of apperentice.

The direction about hovering over another player
s kingdom to find someone with a suzerain rank and then messaging them for help or mentoring
was excellent information and advice in another post you made.

That was all you had to do for this person. So what if you have to tell people over and over? Or, just direct them to that particular post. Paste a link. Simple. Courteous.

The forum is dead until we keep trying to help people and post things that CAN help people. Actually, the forum is growing more... if you look around. :)

I apologize, Way, for being a bitch. I am frustrated with members of the game posting information that makes no sense to those seeking help. Specifics are what they need when they finally are so confused that they come here to the forum. There is nothing wrong with helping people. We are not playing the game for them... we are merely helping them with the things that we had to struggle with.

Just because I learned to ride a bicycle by myself does not mean I cannot help someone else if I see them struggling to learn how to ride theirs. It might not take them as long to get the basics down so they can get "on the road". By helping them, they will benefit from the help learning to ride their own bicycle, I will not be riding their bicycle. I have my own.
