Terichi was a new king who has founded his kingdom in less than a year ago. The road was tough, but he has reached suzerain rank king with the help of his allies only two months ago. After reaching the suzerain rank he had moved away from the protection of allies to gain experience and to become stronger.
It was a normal day and Terichi was having a meeting with his generals on how to subjugate the ruins in his kingdom. Terichi understood the importance of timely cleaning up ruins since they consist of a lot of resources that are used in development of the kingdom and troops. Cleaning up ruins would also create safe kingdom for population to live happily and grow. In the middle of the meeting a messenger ran into meeting room interrupting the meeting. Terichi was furious and slammed the table, how dare a messenger interrupt an important meeting. However, the messenger was experienced and did not lose himself, he immediately told Terichi that explorers have found the highest-ranking ruin, Arch-ruin. Furious Terichi’s mood changed into happiness, since he coveted the treasures of Arch-ruin.
Terichi urgently ended the meeting and contacted the Spy Guild to provide the report on the Arch-ruin, at the same time he tasked visionaries to keep an eye on any activity on the Arch-ruin. He could not let his enemies to steal the treasuries of Arch-ruin, and at the same time he absolutely could not allow Monsters go on a rampage and destroy the Kingdom.
At this time spy report was received and Terichi’s happiness faded away replaced by worry. The report showed that the Arch-ruin was occupied by Master of Monsters Dardisen and a legion of monsters. Dardisen was famous throughout the world for his viciousness and trail of blood he left wherever he went.
Terichi was in deep thought on how to handle the situation and asked his advisor on status of allies who could arrive to his aid urgently.
Queen Mermaid was the queen of neighboring kingdom and was a good ally but unfortunately after a busy day was resting and could not be disturbed. King Hexxus was his clansmate and a good ally who have not let Terichi down previously.
Terichi sent urgent message to Hexxus and like always he replied right away. Two kings discussed the details of the mission to annihilate the Arch-ruin.
King Hexxus send his most trustworthy hero Warlord Balbazak and his brave soldiers to the aid of Terichi, and Terichi decided to send his most experienced Strategist hero Kefanad.
Two armies led by two heroes were ready for the most important mission. A lot of people came to the gates of the city to see them off and wish them good luck.
Experienced heroes Warlord Balbazak and Kefanad was able to surprise attack and catch Dardisen off-guard dealing a huge damage, however Dardisen was as strong as rumors said and he immediately cast his most powerful skill “fear” causing confusion and fear among the troops. Only battle hardened veteran soldiers resisted fear and started to fight against legion of monsters, while Warlord Balbazak and Kefanad fought against Dardisen. It was a bloody battle both sides suffered a lot. Seeing his underlings to suffer Dardisen got distracted for a moment and Warlord Balbazak did not allow the opportunity to pass and hacked Dardisen’s hand off with his sword. Dardisen was defenseless without one hand as such Kefanad easily pierced his spear to Dardisen’s heart. Dardisen looked at two heroes not wanting to believe that he would fall under the hand of two humans, however life left his eyes and they were shut forever. Remaining monsters ran away after seeing Dardisen to fall. Warlord Balbazak and Kefanad did not chase instead attended wounded soldiers. Good thing they have brought enough healers. After healers treated the wounded, they went to the deepest part of the ruin to look for treasures. They found a lot of Black Gems and a Scroll Curse of Construction. Two heroes divided the Black Gems equally and Kefanad gave the scroll to Warlord Balbazak as a token of his friendship.
After the battle two armies went their separate ways back to their own kingdoms, both happy and satisfied. What they did not know however was that the brave actions of the heroes were spread throughout the world and people were telling stories about them in the taverns of the world.
